Geoff K's Custom FE Sedan

Geoff purchased this Elk Blue Special, his first car, from his uncle in 1968.

Early on, a 60's style hot 3 1/4" grey motor with twin carb's and headers were fitted, along with KMac bar and wide wheels. In the 70's, split system power HR discs, a 202 red motor and Toyota 4 speed were fitted.

The car was put away for 25 years, and brought out for the 2006 FE-FC Nationals at Phillip Island, with a 186 and Celica 5 speed.

2012 saw a complete refurbish, 202 efi with VR delco controls. AC, electric assist rack & pinion steering, chassis kit, reset suspension & 14" wheels fitted. Body and Trim have retained 'stock look'.

This car has been a significant part of Geoff's life: teenage romance and freedom; marriage and young family; creative and technical innovations; (and now in later life) grandchildren, car club, and "back to the 60's".
